Leaside Curling Club is located in the Leaside neighbourhood of the former Borough of East York, now part of the amalgamated City of Toronto. The club was founded in 1963 in response to community requests for a neighbourhood curling club. The City owns the building and the Parks and Recreation Department provides support with the management and maintenance of the facility. The club has its own member-elected Board of Directors which manages all aspects of the operation of the club in partnership with the City. |
